This website is to inform others of my experience with Dr. Robert V. Cattani, a cosmetic surgeon in New York. This is meant to express my personal experience and opinion only. I'm a former patient of Dr. Cattani's. If you are thinking about allowing him to perform any surgical procedure on you, please take the following into account.
I consider allowing Dr. Robert Cattani to operate on me to be the worst mistake of my life. I was left with substandard results, disfigurement, and scarring, and I had to have his work corrected by another doctor. It disrupted my life for several years and cost me a huge amount of money. If you are considering seeing him or you are already a dissatisfied patient, be sure to take a look at how many people have sued him in court. According to court records, in early 2007 he lost a major malpractice suit in which a former patient was awarded a large amount of money. To see a list of all the medical malpractice lawsuits against him, do this:
1. Go to the New York State Courts website here:

2. Click on "WebCivil Supreme." Then, if there is a confirmation word or number that comes up, enter it and click "submit."
3. Click "party search."
4. Type in Cattani and click "defendant." Leave the rest blank, then click "find cases."
5. You should see several PAGES of lawsuits that have been filed against Dr. Cattani.
If you are considering becoming a patient of Dr. Robert Cattani, please take my experience into account. If you are already a patient and you feel he has harmed you in any way or performed a less than excellent surgical procedure, you need to understand that there are others like you. Talk to a lawyer IMMEDIATELY! Waiting too long could prevent you from filing a lawsuit and recovering damages. You should also file a complaint with the Office of Professional Medical Conduct, which is a New York State disciplinary body. The complaint form to fill out is here:

The most important thing is to NOT WAIT on any of this....I can't stress this enough. Take action right now, fight for your rights, and let others know about your experience with this doctor.
